Stefanie de Velasco, born in 1978 in the Rhineland, studied European Ethnology and Political Science. She writes regularly for the Berlin city magazine Zitty, for FAS and ZEIT Online.
Her debut novel Tigermilch, published by Kiepenheuer&Witsch in 2013, was a great success, translated into numerous languages and filmed for cinema. In her novel No Part of the World, which will be published in 2019, she comes to terms with her time with Jehovah's Witnesses. She also writes regularly for FAS and ZEIT Online.
