The association ZWEITZEUGEN e.V. tells stories about the time of National Socialism in analog and digital educational projects and makes it possible to learn about and preserve the lives of Holocaust survivors. The association sensitizes (young) people to anti-Semitism and racism and encourages them to pass on the stories, become active themselves and take on social responsibility. Theresa Michels has been leading the scientific work at ZWEITZEUGEN e.V. since 2020. Her work focuses on the source-critical processing of the interviews and the didactic foundation of the educational work. Michels is currently studying history and German language and literature at the University of Bonn. In addition to ZWEITZEUGEN e.V., she is also part of the Young Ambassador Against Antisemitism program of the Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe.
