Sivan Ben Yishai (*1978 in Tel Aviv) is a writer and theater director.
She writes about war in peace, cappuccino and tear gas, the female gaze, daddies whose time is up, and generally about the homely man and what he is capable of. Her texts have been staged in Berlin, Munich, Lucerne, Helsinki, New York and Tel Aviv, among other places.
She has a long-standing collaboration with the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. In 2019/20, she was an in-house playwright at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. With LIEBE/ Eine argumentative Übung she received an invitation to the Mülheimer Dramatiker*innenpreis 2020. Sivan Ben Yishai performs under the pseudonym SIVI WONDER as a DJane.
