Nazila Kivi is an Iranian-Danish independent scholar, literary critic, editor, and translator working at the intersections of science, activism, and art. She holds an M.A. in in Cultural Encounters and Communication and a B.Sc. in Public Health Science with Gender Certificate for the focus "Body, Gender and Minorities". She has worked in the field of sexuality education and diversity for more than 10 years, had a year of research in social medicine with a focus on reproductive health for minorities in pregnancy and childbirth. She is concerned with the interrelationships of language, culture, and oppression. She also developed the course From Witches to Cyborgs: Gender, Race and Resistance, which connects histories of colonialism, the body, and reproduction.
