Nadire Biskin was born in 1987 in Berlin-Wedding. She studied philosophy, ethics and Spanish and did research on language education and multilingualism for several years; today she works as a teacher. Her prose texts have appeared in numerous magazines. A Mirror for My Opposite is her debut novel.
