Jake Schneider is a translator, literary mediator, and editor-in-chief of SAND, an English-language journal of literature and art published by a team of immigrants in Berlin since 2010. In 22 issues, SAND has published contributions from more than 50 countries. As a member of the capital's vibrant multilingual literary scene, he is committed to celebrating and supporting this diversity of local perspectives.
