Artists and protagonists provide insights into their working methods. This works particularly well via a digital whiteboard, which makes the path from idea to result visible.
Media artist Daniel Laufer talks to film scholar Lea Wohl von Haselberg about his work The Geometry of Hope. In this film, Laufer retells an old story: the one from the novella Die Judenbuche by Annette Droste Hülshoff. In doing so, he adopts a perspective that does not appear in the novella: The Geometry of Hope places the widow of the murdered Jew Aaron at the centre, telling of her work of mourning.
