Oona Kastner (*1965 in Emsdetten) is a musician.
She developed her very own free vocal style between the deconstruction of songs, performances, spoken word and improvisational forms.
In collaboration with the musicians Dirk Raulf, Hilmar Jensson and Achim Zepezauer she creates an interdisciplinary sound performance. Texts by Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, Virginia Woolf and Anne Sexton meet contemporary forms of composition, elements of sound collage, noise and drone, song structures and improvisation. The dancer Minako Seki complements the sound performance with dance-figurative movement material.
