Martin Jankowski has published numerous songs, poetry collections, short stories, essay collections, international literary criticism, non-fiction, and a novel. His texts have been translated into 17 languages. Jankowski is a regular guest at international festivals and universities, directs international cultural projects, and is a long-time host of literary salons. He founded the Berlin Literary Action, among others. Since 2017, he has been editor of the multilingual Berlin stadtsprachen magazin and directs the associated event series PARATAXE.
