Armeghan Taheri is a Berlin-based “accidental” artist and storyteller. Her work spanning from writing, editing, organizing, curating and performance emerged from the need to create collective emancipatory spaces.In 2018, she founded Afghan Punk Magazine and in 2024 Afghan Punk City, platforms for creative resistance and political organizing. Since then, she has been working on several art-based educational projects for children and young people. As a member of the Parallelgesellschaft Kollektive, her performances and texts confront political grief, imperialism, violence, and intimacy, rejecting sanitized neoliberal identity in favor of raw interconnected stories.
