Özlem Özgül Dündar, born in 1983 in Solingen, lives in Leipzig and Solingen, studied literature and philosophy in Wuppertal and then at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. She writes prose, scenic texts, essays, performs with her collectives Kanak Attak Leipzig as well as the Ministry for Compassion and is active as an editor as well as a translator. She most recently received the Kelag Prize in Klagenfurt and the Rolf Dieter Brinkmann Fellowship 2018. Her poetry collection gedanken zerren (2018) was published by Elif Verlag.
