Miedya Mahmod (*1996) lives, writes and studies in the Ruhr area / Internet, is active as a spoken word artist since 2016 and is interested in digital & collective authorship*inside, politics & poetry, their contemporary (ir)relevance and for other(s). In 2017, Miedya Mahmod co-founded the reading stage Sound and Smokers*inside and has been leading writing workshops & workshops on text performance since 2018. In 2020, Miedya Mahmod co-edited the first issue of the NetzLyrikZine Lytter. Miedya Mahmod is responsible for concept and moderation of the talk format Deutschland. Beautiful. Reden. at the Ringlokschuppen Mülheim and is part of the revolutionary read-aloud demo Aufruhrgebiet.
