Kinga Tóth (*1983) is a linguist, author and (sound) poet/illustrator. She also works as a cultural manager, "communication specialist" and editor for art magazines. She stages her texts with performances and installations.

She is also a songwriter and frontwoman of the Tóth Kína Hegyfalu project. She stages her texts sonically and visually with performance and installations. In her project Mariamaschina she deals with the lives of holy women, especially Our Lady, traditional prayers and meditative monastic activities. She explores these and translates them into the 21st century as a kind of modern prayer work.
Kinga Toth's new book, an adaptation of ZSÚR, was published by Parasitenpresse Verlag under the name Party-be for the Leipzig Book Fair, and her new poetry collection MAISLIEDER will be published by Thanhäuser Verlag for the Frakfurt Book Fair (2019). In 2020 her bilingual art volume OFFSPRING with visual and sound works was published. In 2020, she received the Hugo Ball Promotion Prize for her German-language performative and literary work and the Bernard Heidsieck Prize for her performative poetic work. In 2021 she will be a guest author at the Lyrikkabinett München and Villa Waldberta, and her book Mondgesichter will be published by Matthes&Seitz in winter.
