Juliana Kálnay

Juliana Kálnay, born in Hamburg in 1988, grew up in Cologne and Málaga, studied literary writing in Hildesheim. She is the author of the novel Eine kurze Chronik des allmählichen Verschwindens (Verlag Klaus Wagenbach, 2017), which was awarded the aspekte Literature Prize as well as the Friedrich Hebbel Prize. After holding positions at the Literaturhaus Schleswig-Holstein, among others, she has been an artistic-scientific assistant for literary writing/literary public sphere at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne since fall 2018.
