Dilek Güngör, born in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1972, is a journalist and writer. Her collected newspaper columns appeared in the volumes Unter uns and Ganz schön deutsch. In 2007 she published her first novel Das Geheimnis meiner türkischen Großmutter. In 2019, her second novel I am Özlem was published by Verbrecher Verlag. The author lives and writes in Berlin.
