Christiane Frohmann

Christiane Frohmann is a publisher, author and cultural philosopher. She publishes across platforms. On the internet she is represented by the Pre-Raphaelite Girls. Her current work focuses on digital magic, performative enlightenment, #UmsehenLernen, and #EndClickbait.

Inspired by a shared visit to William Beckford's Satanic Christmas Party in 1781 England, the Pre-Raphaelite Girls time-travel to the present with Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and make comparisons between the understanding of magic and performance then and now. The Pre-Raphaelite Girls are commissioned by their fellow poet to stage a digital magic festival at Hülshoff Castle. The guests from different realities - you are cordially invited! - can look forward to border-blurring spaces and encounters.
