Coffee gossip - unasked and unfiltered. Gay characters on television in the 2000s were often shrill supporting characters, misogynists or eccentric jokers. Ralph Morgenstern, Dirk Bach and Rudolph Mooshammer were the funny uncles for a heterosexual mainstream audience. At the same time, explicit queer representation was rare and often quickly dead. In Kaffeeklatsch Ralph Morgenstern invited four non-celebrity women to a coffee party to talk about the tabloid topics of the week. Now Thomas Bartling talks about queer gossip with his guests at Hülshoff Castle.
