Code Girls

Even if the first digital developments and coding were significantly marked by women, information technology has become a male-dominated domain at least since the field became interesting from an economic standpoint. We will take a look back at the roots, in the 19th century, and examine Ada Lovelace, the first programmer and a contemporary of the author Annette von Droste- Hülshoff as well as at the texts that both of them wrote.

In this workshop for young women, we explore the intersections of literature and code and will program a digital poetry vending machine ourselves..
